"Our family and I decided on a quick staycation getaway as we have never stayed on Fish River before. Words cannot describe how wonderful The Honey House is! The attention to detail and the beauty and charm exceeded expectations. The photos don't do it justice. The children loved jumping in the river, kayaking and building such sweet memories. The owner thought of everything from a football table to a downstairs access bathroom, to smart TV's throughout the home. If you want to stay on the river in style, this place is a must."

"If you are looking for the perfect relaxing getaway I would 10 out of 10 recommend The Honey House. We had the most wonderful time there enjoying and family time. We loved the beautiful sunsets and waking up to a panoramic river view was amazing. The home is completely stocked and we needed nothing but clothes and food! Cannot wait to come visit again"

Fantastic Home and Location

"We just left after staying the week of Christmas. The home is AMAZING, and the location on the river can't be beat. The downstairs outside is a perfect place to hang out and love the boathouse with its own tv! Babbie and Johnny are the kindest and most thoughtful owners we have met in our travels. Communication is outstanding and it's obvious their goal is to ensure those that stay have a perfect getaway. Recommend HIGHLY!"

"We came to Fairhope for Mardi Gras/ Birthday weekend. This home is spotless and has all of the extra touches to make you feel right at home. The coffee bar is stocked, there's extra paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, aluminum foil, etc. Babbie has thought of everything! She is a perfect host who personally checked us in and showed us everything we needed to know. The home is about 10 miles from downtown Fairhope. We were able to uber to town with no issues whatsoever. If you are thinking twice about this home, don't! BOOK IT! You'll love it! We will be back.
